At The Heart of Veriloom

Veriloom began with a search we couldn’t complete. When my wife—Ksusha (Anastasiya Zagonenko), a live wedding painter—and I planned our own wedding, we wanted more than a highlight reel. We wanted a film that reflected who we are and told the real story behind the day. It didn’t exist, so we built it.

I’m Matthew Steinborn. I studied video production and built my career as a documentary-trained cinematographer, shaping honest stories for nonprofits, arts organizations, and national brands. Along the way I specialized in interview craft, editorial structure, sound design, and color—the tools that make a story clear and lasting. I also manage FAA-compliant drone operations (where permitted) and the quiet logistics that keep production seamless with venues and planners. Falling in love redirected all of that experience toward the stories that build families.

That first 2 a.m. conversation with Ksusha set the tone for our home and our work: careful listening, mutual respect, and craft with purpose. Today, we guide couples who want more than a recap. Our impressionistic, vérité-informed Wedding Legacy Films reflect who you are and why your wedding matters—the joining of families and the start of a new legacy.

Then we shape those truths with considered pacing, professional sound, and custom color into a cinematic heirloom your family can gather around—so they understand you and feel closer, now and over time.

We’re based in Florida and serve couples across all of Florida and beyond—from local gatherings to destination celebrations—with trusted partners.
